In the historic part of Hohenschönhausen – far away from the concrete apartment towers – this residential neighborhood was largely designed around 1920-30 by the famous Berlin architect Bruno Taut. Typical buildings of this type have generously designed courtyards, low three-story construction style and floor plans, which have retained their modernity.

A residential complex with the extraordinary name “Feuchte Ecke” (Damp Corner) was drawn up for a 3.000 sqm. corner property at the Weißenseer Spitze. The name doesn’t describe the quality of the buildings, but is the long forgotten name of the old brandy-shop at the corner. The 4 landmark stucco buildings stand at the center of new three- to five-storey buildings with a generously designed courtyard. The 1st sub-development covered the 4 old buildings!
Our 1st project in Weißensee – a classical old Berlin building at the Weißenseer Spitze with a front building, side wings and a back building. Extensive renovation of the entire complex. The attic was also converted into living space!
